For the first time ever, climbers can have more than one length clipstick without having to buy the entire thing again. Thanks to our unique modular clipstick design with removable heads and bracket complexes, you can buy an additional size telescopic pole, or two. Simply unscrew the entire head complex and swap between pole sizes to cover all your clipstick needs.The second longest telescopic pole (TP700+) is 264.0cm long when extended and is ideal for any crag really. It is obviously not as long as the TP1000+ so you will need to consider how your local crag is bolted before choosing the most suitable pole for your needs. This pole will normally clip up one or two bolts from the ground, getting you out of the danger zone. This is the one for you if you like to local climb and also travel with a big bag. The TP700+ will fit in a large holdall or a 75L rucksack fairly happily. It is advised to buy a Pongoose travel cap to protect the exposed thread and also the inside of your bag when travelling with any pole (see accessories). All poles have an anodised black finish with rubber handle, twist-lock mechanisms and 1/4" UNC thread as standard.
