Overall performance achieved with a nonchromium low zinc coolingwater corrosion control agent is reviewed, Duration of the test extended· over almost a year of additive usage in a major cooling tower of the Shell Oil Company Wilmington Manufacturing Complex. This evaluation was the last in a comparative study of ten commercially available additive formulations1 the others contained neither chromium or zinc.
