The Trac-Com V4 Intercom is now available!! What’s different about this version? The V4 is an entirely new design, offering improved functionality in a more streamlined package. Included is a lanyard to hang it around your neck without holding it. Volume levels and sound quality have been dramatically increased, making it easier than ever to hear in loud environments. Individual volume inputs can now be adjusted using glove-sized low-profile textured buttons on the front of the device. The TracCom Intercom V4 also incorporates a low-power backlit LCD screen that displays each user's volume and the device's battery status.Speaking of batteries, they've completely rethought how the Trac-Com V4 is powered. For the first time, it incorporates a Dual Battery System with a built-in Li-Ion rechargeable battery and a compartment for a removable 9V battery. The lightweight internal battery can be used exclusively to power the V4, providing several hours of use and reducing operating costs. Don’t have time to charge it? Insert a 9V battery, and you’ll add hours of use and never be without power again. If a 9V battery is installed in a fully charged (internal battery) Trac-Com V4, the device will favor the removable 9V, reserving the internal battery for later use. Although the device is entirely new, they haven’t forgotten about our longtime Trac-Com users. The Trac-Com V4 uses the same 5-pin headset connectors customers have relied on for years, making this new version fully backward compatible with previous headsets and adapter cables.
