In addition to major NPK nutrients, the supply and availability of all Trace Elements (micro-nutrients) such as Magnesium, Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Boron, Molybdenum etc.. is essential for healthy plant growth. Manutec has individual Trace Element products as well as a mixture of all Trace elements together in a balanced ratio. If unsure of specific deficiency or symptom, it is better to use Manutec Trace Element mix which provides all in one remedy. Trace element deficiencies are common in sandy, organic and alkaline soils. Directions For Use By Watering Can: Dissolve at the rate of 10-15 grams (2-3 measures of enclosed green spoon) per each 5 litres of water. Coverage: 5 litres solution cover 2 square metre of soil area. For Pots, apply 1 litre per 15cm Pots and 2-3 litres for 30cm Pots. By Foliar Spray: Dilute at the rate of 5-10 grams per 5 litres of water. Use lower rate for younger plants. Avoid spraying during hot, windy & rainy conditions. Frequency: Generally one application per growing season is sufficient under normal conditions. However if the deficiency is severe, repeat 2 more applications at fortnightly interval.
