No academic waffle, just practical steps to help you take what you already know and turn it into solid teaching skills. What you'll learn Over the programme we'll cover: What it really means to be a trainer or teacher. How to run a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment. Ways to plan lessons that actually work for different learners. Simple techniques to keep a group engaged (even after a long day on site). How assessment fits in — and how to make it fair. You'll also get a chance to try it out in micro-teaching sessions. Don't panic — these are short, informal sessions where you deliver a bit of training to the group and get feedback. Everyone's in the same boat, and it's a supportive atmosphere. What you'll walk away with At the end you'll have a recognised Level 3 qualification in teaching — the standard first step into training. It can open doors to teaching in colleges, private training centres, or in-house roles where you train apprentices or staff. How it runs Two evenings a week — no need to give up your day job. Around 50–60 hours of taught sessions spread over the course, plus a bit of self-study.
