Not your typical Earl Grey, this is a softer, creamier take on the classic – a premium black tea base scented with bergamot, rounded with vanilla, and finished with blue cornflower petals. This 'traders' blend combines three of the most heavily traded commodities of the 18th and 19th centuries: tea, bergamot oil, and vanilla bean. Each of these ingredients were once expensive enough to be smuggled, monopolised, and even faked. While the classic Earl Grey signature is here – bright bergamot citrus over malty black Ceylon tea – the vanilla softens the citrus while the cornflowers add a faint dry-floral lift. Less brisk than a London-style Earl Grey, gentler in the cup, and absolutely delightful with milk. Show more
