OFFSET PLATFORM (install with the long edge facing forward) Installation Video These platforms are offset with a shorter front and longer back. A perfect combo for those dual-sport and adventure riders that spend an equal time sitting and standing. This allows the rider to have more foot room while shifting but plenty of support with the longer back. This size allows for minimal adjustment to the foot controls. It offers unmatched support when rocking back and forth. This keeps your boot more supported when hammering whoops or jumping and leads to less discomfort and fatigue. MATERIAL: These platforms are made of aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum. The perfect combination of strength, weight, and durability. Dimensions: 65mm wide front-to-back platform. The front section is close to what a stock footpeg runs, and the back has some added length to keep your boot supported. They stick out from the frame the same length as your stock footpegs, about 100mm. Flex Rating: FR 5 backward and FR 9 forward. We have found that this allows for an ideal mix of limited backward rotation and more forward rotations. Translating into a standing position that makes it easier to get forward on the bike and hard to get back seated. Cleat Sizes: We use Button Head machine screws in standard and metric sizes to give you a wide variety of options. All screws use nylon lock nuts. Here is a list of sizes that will fit. M3x18mm stainless steel machine screw comes stock with all footpegs and is a good all-around size. New bearings, O-ring, and dust cap included. This is a 2-part footpeg system and Mounts are sold separately. *IMPORTANT*When installing these platforms onto the spindle the nylon locking nut torque spec 2 ft/lbs (hand tight) Use an 8mm socket. Once you feel it bottom out stop tightening and visually inspect to make sure the nylon in the nut has engaged with the last couple of threads on the spindle. Over-torquing/tightening will cause the threads to strip and fail.
