Due to the placement of the 7-pin connector and short factory wiring on the 2016-23 Tacoma it may be necessary to extend the wiring when installing our Plate HC rear bumper. This s imple harness has plug and play factory matching male/female 7-pin connectors and allows for a few inches of added length to extend the original harness, as well as featuring an added 4-pin connector teed in. The added 4-pin connector can be zip tied up and out of the way and ignored, or even utilized to tap into power for certain rear accessories or make up for short trailer 4-pin wiring.
