The Maeklong Railway Market is one of my favourite travel experiences! It is about a 1 hour drive out of Bangkok, Thailand. What is so special and unique about this spot is that 8 trains pass through this very narrow market daily. Every time it drives through, the vendors pull back their tables (most are on wheels) and take down their awnings/covers which are held up by thin metal poles. Even tourists and vendors need to dodge the train by stepping back. Definitely an incredible experience and this image captures the moment the train is passing through.
