The SPH Engineering GPR Advanced Module (GPR-3) is the third and highest-level course in the SPH Engineering GPR training series. Designed for operators who have completed GPR-1 and GPR-2 and are ready to advance beyond foundational acquisition and processing skills, GPR-3 covers advanced survey design, complex data processing techniques, multi-frequency and multi-pass data analysis, and specialized application workflows for demanding GPR survey projects.Training is delivered at the SPH Engineering office or via video conferencing. Price is per group of up to 4 students.Prerequisites Completed GPR on a UAV – Level 1 (GPR-1) training Completed GPR Basics – Data Processing & Interpretation (GPR-2) training Practical field experience executing and processing airborne GPR surveys Training Outline Advanced Survey Design — Optimizing survey parameters for complex targets: line spacing, altitude, speed, and frequency selection for deep targets, thin layers, and high-resolution mapping requirements Multi-Frequency Data Analysis — Combining data from multiple GPR frequencies (e.g., Zond Aero LF and 1000 NG) for complementary depth and resolution coverage of the same survey area Advanced Prism 2 Processing — Advanced processing workflows including F-K migration, deconvolution, attribute analysis, and 3D data visualization for complex subsurface interpretation Complex Target Interpretation — Interpreting GPR data for challenging targets: thin pavement layers, closely spaced utilities, deep voids, and geological layering in variable ground conditions Quality Control & Data Validation — Systematic QC workflows for airborne GPR datasets: identifying acquisition artifacts, noise sources, and processing errors before deliverable generation Specialized Application Workflows — Application-specific processing and interpretation workflows for utility detection, void mapping, pavement assessment, snow/ice profiling, and archaeological investigation Advanced Deliverable Production — Producing professional-grade deliverables: annotated depth-slice maps, 3D subsurface models, and GIS-integrated reports for complex client requirements Practical Case Studies — Analysis and interpretation of complex real-world airborne GPR datasets from challenging survey environments Delivery Details Location: SPH Engineering office or remote via video conferencing Group Size: Up to 4 students per booking Price: Per group (up to 4 students)
