The KayMatCa Product-Based Learning Workshop equips educators, homeschool parents, and youth-program leaders with practical tools to design learning experiences where students create real products connected to academic standards and community needs. Participants learn how to move beyond worksheets by guiding students through the full process of ideation, design, testing, reflection, and presentation. Through hands-on modeling and real examples—including hydroponics, entrepreneurship, and culturally responsive curriculum—this workshop shows how product-based learning increases student engagement, ownership, and deeper understanding. Attendees leave with ready-to-use frameworks, sample projects, and strategies for assessing both the process and the final product.
