A “Core Charge” works similarly to the core deposit commonly charged on automotive parts such as alternators, starters, or batteries. To help speed up the replacement process, we ship your replacement transducer before receiving your original transducer back. The Core Charge serves as a temporary deposit until your original unit is returned. How the Core Charge Works The Core Charge deposit is collected at the time of purchase. Once we receive your original transducer, the full Core Charge amount will be refunded to your original payment method. To qualify for a full refund, the returned transducer must be in new, unused condition and include all original parts and accessories. Returned transducers that show signs of use or are missing parts/accessories will incur a $20 refurbishment fee. If you prefer not to pay the Core Charge, please contact our customer support team to arrange returning your original transducer before your replacement is shipped.
