This is a multi-layered artwork that explores materials through experimental techniques. The top layer is made from a repurposed old frame, reshaped and painted with pigments and m arble dust to embody a weathered, organic quality. The middle layer consists of handmade recycled paper, moulded into a thick, textured surface - one section covered in real rust, the other layered with pigments and oil paint. The final cut-out plywood layer is coated with multiple applications of oil paint, marble dust, and wax, creating depth and tactility. Made entirely by hand, the piece reflects a deep personal connection to the creative process. Show more
