Recessed lacing anchors provide a secure fit regardless of whether the shoe is laced all the way to the top, or not. The Transit Mid features an anatomical toe-box for all-day / all-action comfort – a first of its kind in this segment, and sits on the Variable Platform™ outsole with a versatile tread pattern that provides grip over multiple hard surfaces coming alive on concrete, courts, pedals and griptape. Long lasting, one-piece rubber bottom and sidewalls for grip and abrasion resistance feature tuned outsole edges allowing for out-of-the-box performance with little to no break in period. Entire ankle is enveloped, anchoring the foot while protecting from impact and offering lateral stability. Omnidirectional outsole flexibility that allows your foot to function the way it is intended. Full rubber sidewalls are pre-tuned for true out-of- the box performance – sharper on lateral, radiused on medial. Mimicking the flexibility and feel of a traditional vulcanized shoe, the cupsole construction of the Variable Platform™ outsole brings together the best of both worlds offering excellent lateral containment and durability. Exposed midsole at heel allows expansion of the SpectraFoam™ during impact and offers additional flexibility through the heel of the shoe. Full length SpectraFoam™ midsole cushioning that maintains exceptional ground feel. Custom molded SuperFoam™ footbed comfortably cradles the foot and enhances lateral stability.
