This Adapter is used to change a round earth pin plug to flat earth pin. When using a standard reflector - the earth pin is round for use with ballasts. When needed for a screw in fluro Fluro like a Cultiv8 or Envirogrow CFL lamp which already has a ballast in the lamp base - we can use this adaptor to change the reflector to a flat pin each and plug into a standard Australian power outlet.
