Bullets About the design "TREASURES" This design was inspired by a image I took of a stall I came across in Alexandria, Egypt, where turtle shells, shark jaws, and other sea animal parts were being sold. It made me think about overfishing and the broader environmental harm we're causing to our oceans. On the back of the shirt, there's an Arabic saying that translates to:"You want to die? Then throw yourself into the seayou'll find yourself fighting to survive." I found this both fitting and ironic regarding how disrespectful we are to the oceans. This design is a reminder of our destructive impact and a call to action.
