On an evening that gifted me several mountain panoramics with intense purple and orange sunset colours, it was the details in the trees below me that caught my eye and produced some of my favourite images of that session. The fog was constantly moving, flowing in and out of the freshly snow-covered trees and forming amazing sunbeams as it interacted with the low golden sunset light. As a photographer, you cannot ask for much better conditions. Captured on a calm but freezing evening in late January from the peak of La Berra in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. This view is looking south west, across La Joux de Villaret. With its more subdued colours and tones, this artwork is perfect for a dramatic but calming centrepiece of any room.
