The tree staking kits contain everything needed to securely stake trees. Staking newly planted trees is important to prevent root rock and allows trees to establish more easily. The stakes can be removed after 18 months to 2 years. The tree stake and tie is ideal for trees up to 250cm in height at time of planting. It contains a weatherproof stake (150cm length x 5cm diameter) and a horticultural grade soft buckle tie. The buckle tie can be adjusted and includes a spacer to avoid the stake chaffing the tree. The larger staking kits are for trees over 250cm at time of planting; the extra large kit is advised for mature trees with big crowns or in exposed sites. The kits contain two tanalised timber stakes (150 x 5cm or 240 x 6cm) to be placed at each side of the tree, cross bar, belting, nails and rubber spacer block to prevent the tree rubbing.
