Artist Statement: The Abstract Landscape series reflects the artist's love of the Australian landscape and the hours spent sketching ‘en plein air’. Many of the images are painted in the studio, but it is the hours looking at, and being immersed in the landscape that inform this series. The Treeline works placetrees in abstract patterns, with shafts of light and the bark colours of the bush and using collage as a means of layering. Show more
