What made fragrances like First (1976) by Van Cleef and Arpels, Coco (1984) by Chanel, Polo Green (1978) by Ralph Lauren the masterpieces they were? Perhaps not exclusively but most certainly significantly: pure treemoss absolute. Often looked down upon as the dull younger brother of Oakmoss, this Robertet extraction absolutely proves the contrary; this is every bit as wonderful as the nicest green Oakmoss (which we also stock). This is so thick and deeply green that we offer it in a more mobile 50% solution with natural TEC so it remains viable for natural perfumers also. But, because of the rarity of supply of this product we are offering it pure despite the challenges that go along with melting such a tar-like material.
