Sen Slab Dining Table A compact dining table made from a single slab of Sen, selected for its pale tone, open grain, and calm natural movement. The base is designed to be dismantled and flat-packed, with the structure held together using exposed joinery keys and pegs in padauk. The warm red-brown detail of the padauk contrasts with the lighter Sen, giving the table a clear architectural detail without relying on metal fixings. The design is influenced by traditional Japanese kigumi joinery and mid-century studio furniture, where the construction remains visible and honest rather than hidden. With its compact 1840 × 800mm footprint, this table is designed primarily as a comfortable four-seater. The ends can also be used when needed, allowing it to seat up to six people with slimmer dining chairs. Made in our Niseko workshop. Suitable as a small dining table, apartment table, breakfast table, or statement piece for a show house or hospitality interior.
