Arrival & Registration Please park in the designated parking area and make your way to the EPAC Registration Tent (see attached site map). At registration, players will: • Check in with our staff• Receive a numbered player sticker (to be worn on the front of their shorts)• Have a headshot taken for the selection process (internal use only)• Be directed to their coach The session will include technical practices, opposed practices and game-based activities before concluding with a short Academy presentation for parents and players. Players should arrive ready to train wearing football boots, shin pads and appropriate training clothing. Please bring a labelled water bottle. Goalkeepers should also bring goalkeeper gloves. Parents are welcome to watch from outside the playing area. To provide every player with the best opportunity to perform, we kindly ask that all coaching and feedback is left to our staff throughout the session. 2. The event will proceed in all weather unless advised otherwise by EPAC. 3. Academy Selection The EPAC Academy is a high-performance, selection-only programme for ambitious players seeking a professional and challenging development environment. Selection is based on long-term potential, not simply current performance. Players will be assessed on: • Technical ability• Decision making• Coachability• Attitude & character• Commitment, ambition & long-term potential There are 70 Academy places available across four training groups: • U8-U10: 15 Outfield Players + 2 Goalkeepers• U11-U12: 15 Outfield Players + 2 Goalkeepers• U13-U14: 15 Outfield Players + 2 Goalkeepers• U15-U16: 15 Outfield Players + 2 Goalkeepers Following the try out, players will be placed into one of three categories: Category A – Immediate Academy OfferCategory B – Offer if places remain availableCategory C – Not selected on this occasion and encouraged to attend the next Academy Try Out in January 2027.
