Simon Jones Studio has created the Triangle Leg Table for HAY. Curved-ended dining tables like these maximise seating numbers around the table, creating a more flexible and sociable setting. Triangle Leg Table is a well crafted solid oak table with simple, timeless form and the optimum leg design for a knock down flat-packed table. The cheese wedge profile of the table leg slots into permanently attached bracing on the table underside, to be secured by the use of a glueless joint and a single bolt. Crafted in solid oak with an oiled or clear lacquer finish, this versatile series is suitable for a wide range of private and public dining or office environments. Also available in the same furniture series is the Triangle Leg Bench. Simon Jones Studio is a multi-disciplinary London-based design practice founded in 2010 by Simon Jones and Jack Neville. Simon studied Architecture at the University of North London, while Jack graduated from Kingston University with a BA in Furniture and Product Design. Together they primarily work on architectural projects, exhibition design and furniture production, using skilled design practice with a particular focus on materials and detail. The design pair collaborate with many of the UK's leading arts organisations and galleries, including the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Liverpool Biennial, Karsten Schubert Gallery, Somerset House and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
