It is based on a combination of two new acoustic architectures developed specifically for the range: A new phase-alignment component that optimises the dispersion of high frequencies. A horn with an improved profile and a barrel-shaped base. NEW DRIVER ARCHITECTURE New Basket Developed specifically for SOLSTICE, the new 16cm die-cast aluminium salad bowl features an arch-shaped structure that is highly acoustically neutral. Enlarged midrange The membrane benefits from a new rear-glueing system that increases the radiating surface area and improves the linearity of the sound reproduction. Deep bass Low frequencies are handled by new 16 cm drivers with concave cones and no dust cap, whose design combines visual elegance with acoustic performance. PERFECT INTEGRATION REMOVABLE BASE To meet the space constraints of home cinema set-ups, the Solstice C3’s base can be removed when necessary. This saves a valuable 3 cm in height, reducing the speaker’s height to just 20.5 cm, allowing for discreet integration into AV furniture.
