Incentive Create Christmas artwork using triangle shapes for the trees -Line-Shape-Space-Colour-Texture Supplies Art paper (white) or Black A3 Small square sponges (1 for each colour used) Assorted sized triangles cut out of Contact paper (roughly 6-8 per artwork) Paint Lesson 1 Decide on the coloured background – black or white paper. 2 Peel backing off the contact paper and randomly place triangle over the art paper. Best to place larger ones towards the front and smaller ones to the back. Ensure the point of the triangle is facing upwards. 3 Use sponge to cover paper with paint. If working on the black paper use lighter colours. Use any colour combination at all. It can be cool colours, warm colours, rainbow colours or just two colours. 4 Allow to dry. 5 Carefully peel the contact paper off so that triangles are now revealed with the colour of the paper. 6 Display around the room with Christmas messages or use this in a smaller scale to print the front of a Christmas card.
