Tribes is a British four-piece rock band from Camden, London who formed in 2010 and is comprised of singer/guitarist Johnny Lloyd, guitaris t Dan White, bassist Jimmy Cratchley and drummer Miguel Demelo. One of the group's early demos attracted the attention of indie rock icon Frank Black who personally asked them to open for the Pixies in London. Tribes' recorded debut, We Were The Children EP, was subsequently produced by Mike Crossley (Arctic Monkeys, the Kooks). Connecting the dots between Nirvana and The Libertines, their debut full-length release, Baby, is a fitting call-to-arms for a generation left crying out for a band worthy of the designation.
