The Trickstuff Maxima is built around high braking leverage for steep, demanding descents. A progressive lever mechanism works with a 9mm pump piston and four 16/17mm caliper pistons, producing substantial braking force without making every small lever movement an abrupt input. A firm bite point helps make that power usable. The CNC-machined 7075 aluminium caliper uses steel yoke bolts for stiffness, while the bearing-supported lever and low-friction pump piston keep the response controlled. Hollow stainless steel caliper pistons limit heat transfer from the pads towards the fluid. Choose the hose for the installation Goodridge steel-braided options provide a stiff hose construction. The Kevlar option offers a slimmer route through narrow frame passages. These are different supplied configurations: select the hose type alongside the colour and lever arrangement required. Goodridge swivel-fitting features apply to Goodridge-equipped versions.
