Artist: April Hale Jewelry Finding the trillium down by the creek in early spring always serves to remind us that winter is passing, warmer temperatures are coming, and the cycle o f life is renewing. These earrings, inspired by those beautiful white flowers that beckon us to the creek banks, is a reminder of spring that you can wear. The petals and sepals are cut by hand from reclaimed steel, shaped, and soldered together before being enameled into a beautiful three-dimensional flower. Tiny copper stamen fused into the enamel add even more depth, and the flowers are hung on handmade oxidized sterling silver ear wires. All jewelry is handmade from a minimum of 50% reclaimed materials. Flowers are approximately 1/4" deep x 3/4" in diameter. Overall earring length is approximately 1 1/2".
