The Miami Trilogy “The Miami Trilogy,” a publishing initiative created by O, Miami documents the present moment in Miami. Each book in the trilogy is an anthology of South Florida voices curated by a Miami-based editor and organized around a topic crucial to the survival of our community. The trilogy is made possible through a challenge grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Book 1: Making Good Time Book 2: Waterproof Book 3: More Than What Happened Civic Publishing O, Miami publishes Miami voices through books, poetry-in-pubic place projects, digital text, and unexpected surfaces. Rooted in the belief that art and self-expression should be equally available for all city’s residents, Civic Publishing combines education, community-building, and creative placemaking to infuse poetry into spaces and create a more inclusive civic narrative.
