This wonderful notecard is an excellent image to send to medievalists! Highlighting a page from a grand set of choir books commissioned between 1470 and 1495 for a cathedral at Lod i by Carlo Pallavicino, marquis of Cremona, this illumination within the Antiphonary come from the Feast of Trinity Sunday, the last feast in the book that begins with Easter. Trinity Sunday features an initial B of "Benedicat nos Deus..." (Bless us, O Lord); in the image, the three persons of the Trinity are represented identically.
