This black and white CHRONICLE captures the poses of three vultures resting on a large, sturdy tree. The ground on which the foundation of the photograph is rooted is nowhere to be seen, but the branches boast of its immense root system. It holds up three vultures, all of whom are anticipating their own moment. The one on the left is ruffling it's feathers, the center one is about to leave, and, finally, the one on the far left has just landed and is observing its surroundings. The contrast between the tree and birds against the sky is dramatic and eye catching too all who witness it. This is TRIO. STORY This CHRONICLE is a perfect representation of my trio, and arguably every trio. Every time I look at this photograph, I am reminded of the time we had together, whether that was playing video games, hiking, or simply discussing opinions and truth. Reminiscing on these times, I am also becoming aware of an important factor that plays into this chronicle as well. While my two friends and I were all unique from one another, sitting on different branches of life, we were still rooted to the same foundation. We all had the same beliefs, the same morals, the same experiences, but we took them in different directions. For example, we all love being outdoors, but one friend has brought it to doing hikes in a forest, while another has brought it to climbing cliffs. We each enjoy doing similar things, just in a different manner. I really think this goes to show how connected all of us are. We aren't all the most contrasty people, in fact, I believe there are more people like you - in the important ways - than there are people who aren't like you. Think about how many people you know who like the feel of the sun. Now, if you like the sun, then I'm sure there is a way to connect with those people. If you don't like the sun, then there are all of those people who you didn't think of. The point is, we are more alike and brought together than we think. Even though we sit on completely different branches of life, the majority of us have the same foundation, origin, or guide to life. I want to challenge you to connect with those people and see if things work out. Ask them about what they like, ask them about the things they enjoy doing.
