Stromanthe Triostar (Calathea/Geoppertia) has vivid pink, white, and green, upright and narrow leaves making it truly stunning as a foliage plant. Stromanthe/Calathea/Geoppertia are members of the Marantaceae “Prayer Plant” Family and are native to the rainforest floors of Central and South America. This species does not necessarily fold it’s leaves like other Maranta, but they do move subtlety throughout the day with the movement of natural sunlight. GENERAL CARE This plant enjoys a bright, but indirect light. The more indirect the light, the more dynamic the variegation and colors will be. Avoid contact with full sun. Water when soil feels dry to the touch. Would do great in a bathroom or kitchen with filtered light and higher humidity.
