The hooks are made from solid cast iron and tumbled in a light oil to give an antiqued finish. After unboxing, any excess oil can be wiped off with a soft cloth. Please note: This coat hook is not suitable for bathrooms or unheated/damp rooms. Cast Iron is a ferrous metal and is prone to rusting.
