The Extrait de musique collection aims to describe, through incense, the numerous sounds of the stops of the Great Organ of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Trompette 8 Extrait de Parfum, the sixth fragrance presented, represents the trumpet stop, part of the reed family, one of the oldest organ stops. The first documented mention of this stop appears in a description of a large organ from the 1st century BC, located in a gladiator arena. Through a harmonious blend of spices, resins, and woody notes, this fragrance evokes the essence of one of the oldest organ stops, known for its metallic and “scratching” sound. The perfume is contained in a handcrafted wooden box, reminiscent of the resonance cases of pipe organs.
