the mysterious burial returns with a present for all on hyperdub. pressed on 180 gram vinyl, comprised of two pieces of music, with a combined duration of 25 minutes, 32 seconds. 'truant' piles up the pulsing bass tones, warm synth keys, delays, echoes, crackles, chimes and a lovelorn vocal hook to take the first 7 mins here. keep an ear out for those false starts and stops too as one of them heralds a serious drop in pressure.and then it turns all sci-fi hip hop at the end...mental! next up is 'rough sleeper'. a church organ heralds in 'the burial beat' and slowly but surely the track begins to build. a submerged bass drum lifts the track towards the dancefloor and then the melodies start. 'rough sleeper' is an anthem in the making. this two track release is made of gold and covered in snow for sure.
