The TrueClot Packing, Compression, and Tourniquet Task Trainer (PCT3) is a durable, cost-effective training tool designed to help first responders and medical professionals master bleeding control techniques. This versatile trainer simulates a leg wound, ideal for practising wound packing, compression bandages, and tourniquet application, providing an effective way to reinforce these critical skills. The PCT3 can be used as a dry trainer or moulaged with blood simulant for a more realistic experience. Featuring anatomical landmarks such as a gunshot wound and laceration injury model, the trainer allows for the proper placement of compression bandages and tourniquets. The upper thigh area is located 2–3 inches above the wound models, ensuring accurate tourniquet placement, while the anatomical knee landmark highlights the importance of avoiding incorrect tourniquet application over a joint. Constructed from durable, stain-resistant silicone, the PCT3 is designed to withstand repeated use and can be easily cleaned with water.
