Artist statement: These images were created from photographs I took of the intricate bark patterns in the trunks of old fig trees inthe foreshore park in Glebe near my home in the late 90s. I love the way you can see all sorts of things in them – human limbs, wrinkled skin, mandala-like patterns, even maybe Khmer architecture. Show more
