The unique Trust Equestrian Soft Touch Foam Sponge Loose Ring Bit has a thick layer of soft, semi-porous foam molded around the nylon core, and foam-lined bit guards to prevent pin ching. Designed for horses with very sensitive mouths, this bit is also useful as part of the rehabilitation process for horses that have suffered mouth injuries. It can be used as a daily riding bit or used occasionally when the horse is very sensitive in the mouth due to a wound or recent dental care. The delicate nature of the foam material can mean that if chewed by the horse it may result in damage to the mouthpiece or in extreme cases breakage.
