Three years ago, we embarked on a unique journey by crafting a gin and aging it in a 225L hogshead barrel that previously held our distinguished Iniquity Single Malt.Our seasoned team envisioned the potential of a long-aged gin, surpassing the typical three-month barrel finish. As anticipated, treating the gin with the same meticulous care as our whisky yielded exceptional results. This innovative approach was recognized at the 2024 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards, where this gin secured one of only two gold medals in its category. NoseSweet up front with plenty of vanilla, juniper and caraway. PalateRich creamy texture followed up with white pepper, orange pith, heavy juniper, more vanilla and fine oaky tannins. FinishLong and warm, lots of juniper, orange and vanilla hanging around with a final flourish of orange blossom water.
