It is the final in a series of 3 prints inspired by the Tales of Princess Kaguya (Kaguya-hime no Monotagari) or the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter's Daughter. In 2015 I saw an adaptation of this by Studio Ghibli and fell in love with the story of the girl who was sent by Buddha and trapped on Earth only to finally be rescued and returned to the moon.
