Featuring two square tunnels and a rectangular tunnel, this set facilitates intricate paths and obstacle designs on Bee-Bot mats. These plywood tunnels bring a new dimension to Bee-Bot lessons by introducing a three-dimensional navigational component that complements teaching core computing fundamentals. By integrating these tunnels into lessons, children are presented with heightened challenges that foster essential problem-solving skills. Aligned with Key Stage 1 objectives, the tunnels encourage children to create and debug simple programs, thereby enhancing their computational thinking abilities. This approach mirrors real-world scenarios, adding value to their learning experiences. The sturdy and practical design of the tunnels ensures durability for repeated use in busy classroom environments. The ability to disassemble these tunnels not only aids in their practical storage but also teaches children about physical structuring, supporting various educational goals.
