A 1930s central Anatolian rug, probably from the Yahyali region. A colour palette which is predominantly a variable green with blues, red, yellow, black and natural off white. Abra sh in the blue/green sections where some colour restoration has been done to bring back the overall coherence of the design. Overall wear to base and corrosion to dark brown/black,. Slight loss to the central sections of the ends. This is a beautiful and unusual rug despite the wear. 183 x 130cm Show more
