A Shane Stalcup pattern that we brought back by having it custom tied. This fly has been deadly for us over the years. This pattern catches finicky fish anywhere we chase trout. Fi sh it as part of a dry dropper combo and it is deadly! Also great as a dropper behind a nymph and fished deep. The CDC traps air and suggests the gas trapped by a midge pupa nearing hatching.
