Aids in lifting an Inner Sleeve insert up and out of a tight thumb hole. Removable inserts can become difficult to remove when a ball core expands due to hot/cold climate changes o r simply over time as the ball absorbs lane oil. Ball core expansion puts pressure on the Switch Grip Outer Sleeve which causes difficulty in removing or turning the Inner Sleeve.
