Türkis Island by Henri Crow depicts an imaginary landscape in shades of green, blue, and turquoise. Crow built a relief-like background using sand and pieces of concrete, over whic h he applied multiple layers of paint. These layers formed dynamic structures and color gradients, evoking the movement of water and the contours of landscapes.
