This portable, lightweight drop spindle is the perfect tool for spinning singles or plying. The removable arms and shaft disassemble easily to allow you to make center-pull balls without needing a separate ball winder. The arms on each size spindle are positioned roughly 3/4 of the way down the shaft, to give you the ideal balance and weight distribution as well as plenty of room to work when winding your cop. All pieces of the spindles are made from industrially and municipally compostable PLA plastic. Please remove all fiber before composting. Sizes available The S size is best suited to spinning thicker thread or other fine yarns. Please note that due to different densities of each color of 3D printing filament, weights may vary slightly.
