Shipping window: We start shipping in May and June to ensure optimal planting times. Each sampler pack contains 3 plants: Option 1: 2 ginger plants + 1 Florida red turmeric. Florida red produces the largest rhizomes of all the types we grow. On our larger plants, we see yields of up to 3.5 pounds of rhizomes per plant, making it an excellent choice for someone starting with just a single plant. Option 2: 1 ginger plant + 1 Florida red turmeric + 1 Tennessee Wonder turmeric. This option is best if you want to try the newest turmeric strain we've added to our lineup: Tennessee Wonder. Grown by Ray Tyler at Rose Creek Farms, this strain will regionally adapt and is better-suited for northern growers than the Florida Red. Why Grow Ginger & Turmeric? Planting: Our plants arrive ready to grow! You can plant them directly in your garden or repot them into a larger pot for indoor or outdoor growing. Care Tips: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Provide plenty of warmth and indirect sunlight.
