The Turn was a unique creation of surprising variety and exceptional depth, that found Mo yet at an adventurous new creative peak. Q called it "classic Moyet" whilst Evening Standard dubbed it "an album worthy of her fabulously expressive voice". Showcasing various influences from pop, jazz and blues, this album sees Moyet at her best and most self-assured. All eleven songs were co-written and produced by multi-instrumentalist and long-time musical partner Peter Glenister (The Hitmen).
