Pink Pedestal A ceramic ikebana vase with a wide bowl form and compact pedestal base. Mottled pink over white glaze with a soft, powdery surface. Faux asymmetrical handle appendage s at the waist for a modernist ambience. Made by a now-defunct Japanese ikebana kiln from last century which were renowned for their avant-garde and modernist forms. Requires a kenzan (flower frog) for floral arrangement. Vintage pieces will show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, light staining, and firing irregularities. Please review all images carefully, as they form part of the description.
