Loop earrings are inspired by natural textures and the Japanese philosophy of wabi sabi, finding beauty and harmony in asymmetry, worn surfaces and slight imperfections. They have a subtly textured surface created by hammering and firing layers of enamel. After sanding, they’re accented with lacquer and then dusted with pure gold or silver powder. To finish, they’re buffed and sealed with matte varnish spray. I enjoy working with simple, sculptural forms, creating timeless and wearable art jewelry. All jewelry is hand fabricated.
